Urban Exploration (URBEX) at the Derelict Aston Hall Psychiatric Hospital in November 2011.

These buildings were vacated when the Care in the Community Bill became law in 1990. Most of the glass in windows has been destroyed and buildings vandalised. Lots of drain covers, lamp standards and all available copper wiring has been stolen.

All of the buildings have now been demolished to make way for a development by Richmond Villages and operates a Care Retirement Community, comprising 60 care bedrooms, 49 care suites and 76 care apartments.

Also as part of the planning, consent has been obtained to build 74 private residential units in approximately six acres as a single lot.
